Do not assume that seeking safety is an admission of fear. It in instead, rather, an expression
of health. It means you value your own life, and the life of others.
When the next big disaster hits, there will be a lot of people in line for help. You can
reduce the size of that line by taking responsibility now for yourself, your family, your local school, neighborhood, workplace
and greater community.
And what if YOU are the one that is called to help others at that time? It may
be as simple as sharing an extra flashlight or some emergency water, but then again, it might be even more valuable that that.
Did you know, for instance, that most successful rescues are made by bystanders, and not emergency responders?
