junkin.gif

Junkin Backboard:

This is an excellent design.  The sturdy poly material is lightweight-----put your efforts into carrying the victim, not the board!  Handholds are placed well and very comfortable.  When this backboard is "flat" on the ground, it's really not flat.  Instead a well placed ridge on the bottom supports the central weight, but raises the edges in a way that the rescuers can use the hand grip areas without scraping knuckles.  Straps included.

Retail price:  $175.00
Bulk prices are significantly less expensive.

Evacu-Aid Soft Stretcher
evacuaid1.jpg

Evacu-Aid Stretcher:

This is one of the most versatile stretchers we have ever seen, and it's worth coming in to see how it can be used.  Sturdy canvas, well-designed, high quality stitching and reinforcement points, and yet folds so compactly it will fit in a gym bag.  While you should never use a soft stretcher when a backboard is needed, there are numerous applications where a soft stretcher is useful and acceptable.  This one can also be used to rescue small animals and pets.  A great price for a quality item.

Retail price: $39.00 each.
Bulk pricing is available for three or more units, and offers significant savings over the retail price.

samsplint.gif

SAM Splint:

A SAM Splint is also known as the "Pocket Cast", in part because it is so compact at 4.5" x 36", and also lightweight at a mere 4 ounces.  "The SAM Splint is foam padded for comfort and adaptable for use..... invisible on x-rays, waterproof and reusable."  Great for coaches, lifeguards and others who may provide initial "packaging", as well as for disaster applications.

Be sure to add several of these to your medical trauma supplies!

Retail Price: $ 14.00 each.
Bulk Pricing is available.  Please contact us for specifics.
